Kool Smiles Review: Kevin Wants To Spend More Time At Kool Smiles in Longview

Mae Ballard took her grandson, Kevin, to his appointment at Kool Smiles of Longview for his regularly six month check-up.   It was her first time at the office, although Kevin had been going since 2009.  Ms. Ballard states she didn’t think much of it at the time; she was just taking her grandson to the dentist. To her surprise, her experience was far from that of other dentist’s offices. From the first step into the lobby, Ms. Ballard found Kool Smiles to be a warm and welcoming experience for both herself and her grandson. “I love the way the staff showed so much patience with the kids, even when they were a bit afraid.  It’s wonderful from the front desk to the back.”

Kevin, age 5, told his grandmother he enjoys the play area and made a special request to have extra time at Kool Smiles so he has time to play first. He said, “I like going there Granny, especially the slide and the touch screen coloring TV.”

Mrs. Ballard also found the staff and doctors have a special way of working with children to help them feel comfortable at a dentist office and learned that the experience is not fearful. She found everyone to be happy and friendly and was willing to take the time to explain the process to both patient and family. The staff even went so far to explain the exam by telling a story about an alligator in a way a young child could understand. “Everyone showed me that they really like their jobs and care about the kids’ treatment.  I thank God for Kool Smiles, some adults don’t like the dentist and they make it easy for everyone. I truly recommend parents take their children to the office.”
